The Vale
The Riverside Collection · Tiracol, South Maharashtra
Two villas in the spirit of the Italian palazzo.
The Vale draws from the Italian palazzo, grand in scale and unhurried in spirit. Designed for slow living, it is a home that asks nothing of you except that you stay a little longer.
Its two villas are named Vaara and Vayu, both words for air.

The house
Two private entrances. Living rooms that rise to double height, with a place to sit on every level. A pool held within its own courtyard. Gardens at the front and the rear, and a pavilion that looks out over them. A terrace turned toward the river. Below, a room for films and long evenings of games.
Interiors
The interiors are by Peacock Life by Shabnam Gupta. Plush, warm, deliberate. They are part of the design of the house, not a layer added to it.
The setting
The Vale sits in the Tiracol region of South Maharashtra. Its gardens open at the front and the rear, and its terrace looks down to the river.
